Why You Should Be Blogging | How I Grew My Audience

I have been writing about technology and other stuff over my personal tech blog back in 2011 and for my friend's domain where they collaborated with multiple subject matter experts and thought of buying a domain first, then investing time and content, which came to a crucial end of fixation between ruthless topics and no generation of contents.

Why am I talking about any other person? I, myself failed my previous blog that gained significantly great audience just because of one thing. Want to know what it was? Read ahead.

I used to write about tech here, which is just another .blogspot space on Google's index now. I never knew what keywords or SEO meant. I seriously had no idea about it back then. I just wanted to become something like DJKrimp writing about tech or say your very own MKBHD. But somehow college happened and I failed to make enough time to carry it on ahead. There was a time when my audience from the globe grew massively.

What was it?
It was just a post about the most searched entry-level smartphone of that time, Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop!

Anurag-n-Gadgets(2011)
This post got heavy traffic from the globe. I and my AdSense account grew in a good way(PayPal and gateways hefted out most of the chunk though, no complains)

Somehow, months passed and the level of interest faded with time. It was not a sort of love/hate situation, but something I couldn't manage to get into.

Now, sitting here seven years after the same and having a full-time job and a shift towards having this blog up and running, I am contradicting my own past and I don't know why but I am liking this thing.

To Get A Space

Let's just not go technical here.
I am still not diving deep into keyword stuffing, no affiliate stuffing, and other things. I am just creating my space to speak about things that do and don't matter to me. Speak about my priorities, and keep you updated with whatever it possible for me to know and let you know about.

Earning?

The question mark? That's my doubt though. Personally speaking, Dredge is not something about making money to me. I am just here to, as said earlier, speak out. But things are clear, you play with text people search for, you get them click on ads of products they love, which pay you money. As simple as that.

Verdict
I fail miserably at writing the bottom-line, but there is none here.
Maybe there's no end to any article on Dredge! That's how it goes.

If you are an aspiring blogger, make sure you don't let this slip.
iFB is running a 10 day course for bloggers here. I love their content and that's the reason why I am promoting it. No influences here and there.

If you have any sort of feedback, please let me know in the comment section below.

Thank you.
